How To Be A Hacker

To become a hacker you have to develop a lot of skills. But when i say a hacker first choose which type you want to be black hat, or gray hat or white hat. I reccomend you be the white hat you can get really big money for that. But all the above have similar skills the difference is whether the use it for good purpose. Other dont call your self a hacker even when you become real one. Generally there are two type of hackers 1. Script kiddies - they use already made softwares to hack in to systems. But they have no idea even how the software did that and they only hack in to systems thats is known to be vulnerable. And this guys dont know anything about programming or networking...they think they are but they are not. 2. Hackers-this guys are the real deal this guys write tools that are used for hacking this guys are the one who find vulnerabilities of software, networks.... They can hack into many thing and it takes them months because they are hacking a real and highly secure systems. They dont call them selves hackers. So to be a hacker. 1. learn programming language. I say start with python programming language its easy to learn(in couple of days you will write a good tool) books for python -wikibooks non programmers guide to python - the official python documentation -violent python(will teach you how to program hacking tools even how to code malware.) 2. Learn how to use linux and windows perfectly. Because you have to know the ins and out of OS to hack into it. Learn linux because usually more hacking tools are written for linux. Download ubuntu to learn about linux. The is another linux distro called kali-linux its full of hacking tools. Read this book -the linux comand line by wiliam e.shotts 2. Learn networking and its protocols book-networking a top down approach there is a free video series about networking called proffessor messer network + on youtube watch them if you dont like reading like me also watch proffessor messers security + series which teaches you about network security measure which you must have to know 3. learn html, xhtml and javascript which are all web designing language. But very easy easier than python you can learn them in one week. Learn just the basic part its a must since most hacking are done against website book sams teach yourself HTML, CSS, and javascript free video series goto www.thenewboston.org its free and short you learn the basic part by the way skip the CSS part. If you have time learnhng PHP & SQL is also good (both are free on thenewboston site) 4. If you learn all that i deem you are ready now go read this books to learn art of hacking -the web application hackers hand book -proffessional pen testing -gray hat hacking -certified ethical hacking final word of advise dont try to hack into real systems set up a virtual lab. Have a hackers mind set to become a real hacker it will take you 1-2 years depending upon how you are commited and how fast you learn. But dont read the hacking books with out prior understanding of networking, programming. You dont have to learn c++ but its very important to widen your skill for beginner just learn python
